Hi! My name is Velvet Holmes and I am currently an Information Technology Literacy Teacher in the Oregon School District. I have been a teacher in Oregon since 1997. Before I joined the Oregon School District, I was a 4th grade teacher at Sacred Hearts School in Sun Prairie.
I really enjoy working with our staff integrating technology into the curriculum. Every day I am stretching and learning new things. I hope to learn more during this experience!
I am the mother of a 9 year old named Griffyn and have been married to Jerry for 14 years. We live in Windsor and both Jerry and I are DeForest High School grads - Go Norskies! We have a Golden Doodle named Aly and two cats named Ditty and Jadyn.
Some of the things I enjoy are spending time with my family and friends, shopping for shoes and purses, and photography/videography. My resolution this year was to be more "green." You can read more about how I am learning to be green at my blog.
